MyRecipePages.com is a recipe website project built around a simple idea: recipes should be easy to save, easy to read, easy to print, and easy to share.
Purpose
The first purpose is to create a better home for personal recipes. The longer-term purpose is to support family favorites, shared recipes, printable pages, and simple recipe collections without turning the site into a cluttered recipe blog.
Approach
The site is being built in small stages using ordinary PHP, reusable includes, W3.CSS, and SQLite. That keeps the project portable, readable, and friendly to future desktop tools that may help manage recipes and images.
Recipe Page Philosophy
A useful recipe page should help someone cook. Ingredients, directions, timing, notes, images, and print options should be easy to find. Personal stories can have a place, but they should not bury the recipe.
